Another issue: it makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to deploy any service that uses GPT-3 in any major capacity, without either pricing out the average consumer or giving them a tight usage limit to worry about. And if you want to provide a free tier, good luck with that. (AI Dungeon manages to do it somehow, but my understanding is they have a special arrangement in place that OpenAI is unlikely to extend to others.)
